The Women's World Cup, Australia 2023

This summer I was able to head over to the other side of the world to attend my second Women's World Cup as a freelance women's football content creator.

We recorded, and I produced, 25 (!!) episodes of Counter Pressed during the month. It was not always easy, with a huge time difference, 64 games and a bout of laryngitis that took me off the airways during the last week of the competition. I am so proud of the work we put in to cover the Women's World Cup in a fun and unique way to our competitors.

Studs has also continued to grow and evolve in to an incredible community of women's football fans who are really engaged with the content we create. We started up just before the 2019 World Cup so it was incredibly rewarding to go to our second world cup!
